Little Mix, the British girl band, is releasing a new album titled Between Us on November 12, 2021.

The compilation album is being released in celebration of the band’s 10th anniversary. The group said in a statement: “The support we have received over the last ten years has been incredible and for that we can’t thank you enough…

“This album is for each and every one of you who has ever listened to our music, bought an album of ours or attended our shows singing your hearts out. We would not be here releasing this album if it wasn’t for you,” the statement said.

The band said the new album contains “all of our hits” and will also feature new songs, the titles of which have yet to be revealed.

Each group member is also releasing their own version of the new album that includes “some of [their] fave songs individually,” the band said on Twitter and Instagram.

Between Us will feature 18 of their hit songs and five new tracks, according to an August 19 post on their Instagram account.

10 Years of Little Mix

Little Mix was formed in 2011 during the eighth season of the U.K. version of The X Factor music competition series. They were the first group to win The X Factor and signed with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Music after their win.

According to IMDb, Little Mix’s debut album DNA in 2012 peaked within the top 10 in 10 countries, including in the U.S. and U.K. They were the first girl group since The Pussycat Dolls to rank among the top five in the U.S. with their debut album.

They also recorded the highest debut U.S. chart position by a British girl band, shattering the previous record set by the Spice Girls, according to IMDb.

The group has had six songs rank on the Billboard 200 chart for U.S. albums and EPs (including two ranked among the top 10 hits).

Little Mix debuted as a four-piece group before the departure of Jesy Nelson in 2020, who left the band for “her mental health and well-being.”

In a post on Twitter in December 2020, the group said: “After an amazing 9 years together Jesy has made the decision to leave Little Mix. This is an incredibly sad time for all of us but we are fully supportive of Jesy.

“We love her very much and agree that it is so important that she does what is right for her mental health and well-being. We are still very much enjoying our Little Mix journey and the 3 of us are not ready for it to be over,” Little Mix tweeted at the time.
